Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Juanito Cortez (ranked 1478 p4p, 30 weight class) and Chuck Lee (ranked 6901 p4p, 94 weight class). Cortez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, $$$. Lee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Titties and Coke "subliminal messages". These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lee.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Cortez pushes him off.

Cortez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Cortez cracks Lee with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Lee is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Lee is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Cortez closes the distance and catches Lee with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Lee is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Lee is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Lee is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Cortez takes it!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and St. Georges has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from St. Georges and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
