The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Panda wants to clinch up but Smakatron keeps it at a distance.

Smakatron lands with a nice body punch.

Smakatron looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Panda closes the distance and clinches up with Smakatron, looking for a takedown. Panda pushes Smakatron against the cage but Smakatron circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smakatron stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Furious Panda.
