Dixie drops back looking for a leg! Nakamura is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nakamura manages to kick Dixie off! Dixie jumps back into Nakamura's guard.

Dixie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dixie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dixie wants to control from the top but Nakamura keeps moving.

enabling Dixie to counter with a crisp jab.
Dixie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dixie looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nakamura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dixie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nakamura somewhat.
Dixie now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nice takedown defense from Dixie. No joy for Nakamura on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Itoshi Nakamura. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nakamura tries to clinch up but Dixie circles away and keeps his distance.
Nakamura does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dixie unleashes a big counter combination but Nakamura bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Itoshi Nakamura will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dixie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nakamura tries to clinch but Dixie moves out of range.

Dixie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nakamura.
Nakamura drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dixie sprawls and moves away.

Carpenter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Da Souza's head.
A cross from Carpenter lands.
BOOM! Carpenter lands a beautiful left hook that drops Da Souza. Da Souza tries to recover but Carpenter is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Da Souza lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
