We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bam Bam can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Porrier will probably get the nod.

Porrier shoots in looking for a takedown. Bam Bam tries to sprawl out of it but Porrier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bam Bam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bam Bam changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Porrier goes for a double leg but Bam Bam avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bam Bam continues to drive forward.
Nice takedown defense from Bam Bam. No joy for Porrier on that attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Porrier slips a nice elbow through Bam Bam's hands, connecting with Bam Bam's forehead.

Porrier sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Bam Bam tries to hold on but Porrier pushes him away.
Bam Bam takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Porrier has control of Bam Bam's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bam Bam regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Porrier is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bam Bam to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bam Bam shrugs it off.
Bam Bam can't escape the position.
