The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi shoots in for a double leg but Vu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Musashi with a body shot.
Musashi with a poor takedown
and Vu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Musashi.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Musashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Musashi dives in for a single leg takedown but Vu sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Musashi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vu avoids it really well and circles away.

Vu has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Joe Musashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Musashi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Musashi.
It seemed like Vu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vu - that will leave a mark!
Vu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Vu scores with a punch to the head.

Musashi is rocked!
Vu tests Musashi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oh Musashi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vu catches Musashi with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Musashi forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Chaize is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heyyyyyy.
Heyyyyyy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chaize's waist but Chaize gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Heyyyyyy off to one side.
Chaize throws a lazy right hand but Heyyyyyy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Heyyyyyy shoots in for a takedown but Chaize shows good takedown defense.
Jacques Chaize has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sparky Heyyyyyy.

Heyyyyyy dives in for a single leg takedown but Chaize sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Chaize wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Heyyyyyy moves out of range of the strikes.
Heyyyyyy with the counter takedown but Chaize avoids it easily.
A slow jab from Chaize misses its intended target.
Chaize stuffs the takedown.
Heyyyyyy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chaize.
Chaize connects with a nice looking jab.
Heyyyyyy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chaize pinned against the cage. Chaize gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chaize is looking to counter punch.
Chaize is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Heyyyyyy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chaize tries to avoid it but Heyyyyyy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chaize to the ground. Chaize escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Heyyyyyy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Chaize has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Heyyyyyy has an Americana. Chaize didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Heyyyyyy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Heyyyyyy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

It looked like Satori wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Baby tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Satori is able to avoid easily.
Satori throws a big shot that misses.
Satori misses with an uppercut
and Baby counters with a two punch combo.
Satori has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Ursher Baby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Satori circles away quickly and effectively.
Satori throwing a counter right hand but Baby manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Baby, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baby defending well as Satori loads up on a big left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baby takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That kick from Baby tenderised Satori's leg. Satori is trying to keep his angry face on.
Satori blocks the body kick.
Satori cracks Baby with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Baby will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
