The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ironheid tries to avoid it but Cormier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ironheid to the ground. Ironheid escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ironheid lands a big uppercut and Cormier crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cormier looks OK. Ironheid waves Cormier back to his feet!

It looks like Danny Cormier has been cut.
Ironheid's coach down at Syndicate Athletics was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ironheid's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ironheid fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cormier is breathing heavily.
Ironheid fakes the body blow, causing Cormier to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cormier goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

On his way into the cage it seems that Hugo Boss has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hugo Boss seems to be OK!
