McPee slips under a jab.
McPee stalks Smack and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smack's face. Smack staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smack throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smack throws the left hand but McPee avoids the punch easily.
McPee lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice defenses there by McPee.
McPee drops Smack with a straight right hand, right on the button! McPee follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damon Rekker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Kraft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kraft has chosen knock em dead (kid) by Motley Crue as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rekker shoots in for a takedown but Kraft shows good takedown defense.

Rekker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kraft's waist but Kraft gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rekker off to one side.

Rekker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rekker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kraft napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kraft manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rekker's best efforts.
Kraft tries to kick Rekker off but Rekker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rekker uses his free foot to push down on Kraft's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kraft.

Kraft defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rekker.
Kraft is trying to stand but he's just given Rekker his back.

Rekker has the hooks in. Kraft is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Rekker passes his arm under Kraft's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Kraft taps!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Damon Rekker!
