The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viki just misses with a punch to the body.
No joy there for Viki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Viki lands with a straight right. Simpson didn't see that one coming.
Simpson dips to his left and cracks Viki with an uppercut!

It looks like Miki Viki has been cut.
Viki throws an off balance right hand
enabling Simpson to counter with a crisp jab.
Viki takes one to the side of the head.

Viki is rocked!
Simpson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Viki's defenses. It connects perfectly with Viki's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Martian Manhunter (ranked 2986 p4p, 283 weight class) and Tim Harris (ranked 1848 p4p, 206 weight class). Manhunter comes into the arena with My Name Is J'onn J'onzz blaring out of the sound system. Tim Harris told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Harris stuns Manhunter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've been told by Manhunter's head coaches at Dark Horse MMA (HBE) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Manhunter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martian Manhunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manhunter throws a right and a left that Harris avoids nicely.
Harris takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manhunter as he avoids it easily.
