The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana fails with a takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jordon enables Santana to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jordon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bush swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Rua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rua.

Rua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bush fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rua manages to avoid it.
Rua throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bush throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rua sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rua's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rua duly obliges.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hall slips a straight right by Orion.
Orion throws a lazy right hand but Hall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall darts in looking for a takedown but Orion gets double underhooks and turns Hall into the cage.

Let's hope that Orion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hall is looking for a triangle but Orion pushes his legs off easily.
Orion stands and throws Hall's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orion is staying tight to Hall's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Hall tries to bench press Orion off him but Orion keeps the position.
Hall is working hard here to advance position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Orion steps in with a hook that catches Hall right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Orion follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hall looks absolutely devastated.

Talon Orion is the new featherweight champion!
Post fight, Talon Orion stared into the camera and said 'This guy was a very one dimensional fighter.. making a game plan for this guy was incredibly easy.. you need more than just a brown belt to be champion. Sorry not sorry.. *holds up belt*'.
