The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Jones tries to sprawl but Kanjo drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Darwin Jones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Chaffin steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Fury's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Fury just didn't come prepared.

Vidal's entrance music is Scarface OST - The world is yours. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Dannis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dannis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vidal throws out the jab.

Dannis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vidal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dannis throws out a counter right but Vidal avoids it with no problem.
Vidal misses with a looping right.
Vidal throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Dannis colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Vidal as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Dannis is left battered and dazed whilst Vidal and his camp cheer!

Our winner, Jorge Vidal, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Brady walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Daniels lands with an overhand left.
Daniels catches Brady with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Daniels gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brady to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brady is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Brady passes Daniels's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Daniels looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Daniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brady. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brady seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Daniels for as long as he can get away with.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth.

Brady thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Brady is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Daniels is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Daniels is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
