Foot feints and as Montrial raises his hands in defense, Foot changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Foot walks straight into a right hand from Montrial - that's dropped him! Montrial jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Foot from any more punishment! Foot complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jackson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Brown dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jackson . That did some damage!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick by Garrison - that's a beauty! Alves is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Garrison can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

I think Toews might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Till I Collapse. On his way into the cage it seems that Jonathan Toews has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonathan Toews seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Hardman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Toews as he jumps to the side.

Hardman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hardman manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
