Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Duck darts in and clinches Gted up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Duck creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gted is trying to drag Duck to the mat but Duck just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Gted tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gted is looking for a takedown.
Miracle Duck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dzdsg Gted.
Duck lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gted backwards.
Gted's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Gted tries to clinch up but Duck pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gted to the mat! Gted covers up and Duck unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Gull is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tyler is just riding it out for now. Gull eventually gives up the hold.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Oconner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Silva from any more punishment! Silva complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
