We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McDermott throws a lazy right hand but Hawk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hawk drops McDermott with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McDermott looks back up at him and smiles so Hawk waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh McDermott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDermott tries to clinch up.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hawk! But no joy.
McDermott misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hawk counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks McDermott badly! He tries to strike back but Hawk puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks McDermott out cold! Oh man, McDermott will never hear the end of this one!

Night with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Night got a little sloppy there for a moment and Athram has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Night has managed to get both his arms back between Athram's legs - danger averted.

Athram had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Night defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Athram is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Night has his hands clasped together but Athram extends and breaks Night 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Athram.

De Minaur has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
