Nelson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bastard defends well and Nelson ends up having to push Bastard into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looked like Bastard wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nelson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shaun Gow will probably get the nod.

The two fighters roll across the mat, with Gow trying to push Tsavieva off... Gow taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
