Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Warrant Officer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyrone Mack!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.

Officer lands the left hand.
Officer throws a hook but Mack blocks it.
Officer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mack walks into a stiff left hand from Officer.
Mack ducks right into an uppercut from Officer.
Mack tries to close the distance and clinch but Officer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mack on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Mack shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Officer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mack is staying tight to Officer's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Mack sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Officer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mack wants to control but Officer is keeping him busy.

Mack tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mack has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mack has an Americana. Officer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mack is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mack hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Mongrel loads up on a big right hand but Shamrock slips the punch.
Mongrel lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Stan Shamrock has been cut.
Mongrel lands a nice shot to the body.
Shamrock keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mongrel.
Mongrel looks to land a combination. Shamrock sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Shamrock wants to clinch up but Mongrel keeps it at a distance.

Stan Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mongrel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shamrock was well out of range. Poor timing from Mongrel.
Mongrel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shamrock moves away.
Shamrock wants to clinch up but Mongrel keeps it at a distance.

Shamrock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mongrel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mongrel just misses with a punch to the body.
Shamrock fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mongrel connects with a nice looking jab.
Shamrock avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mongrel lands a body shot.
Shamrock takes one on the button.
Mongrel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shamrock doesn't manage to clinch there - Mongrel circles away.
Shamrock moves in looking to clinch but Mongrel pushes him off.
It looked like Mongrel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Shamrock takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mongrel looks to land a right hand but Shamrock moved out of range.
Shamrock tries to clinch up but Mongrel circles away and keeps his distance.

Shamrock moves into the clinch.
Shamrock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mongrel trying to stall but Shamrock improves his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mongrel lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mongrel doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Shamrock tries to pull guard but Mongrel holds him up against the cage and eventually Shamrock drops back down to his feet.
Shamrock fails to pull guard.
John Mongrel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stan Shamrock.
A nice left hand lands by Mongrel.
Mongrel struggles to land a body shot inside as Shamrock controls his hands.
Shamrock fails to pull guard.
Shamrock is trying to pull guard but Mongrel has him pressed against the cage.
Shamrock fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Shamrock tries to pull guard but Mongrel won't allow it.
Mongrel lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Shamrock has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mongrel uses from the top position.

Mongrel is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shamrock has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mongrel is looking to defend but Shamrock has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mongrel! Shamrock pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mongrel taps out and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Stan Shamrock thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
