The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yukimura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yukimura somewhat.

Yukimura closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johnson did well to prevent Yukimura getting side control.
Yukimura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.

Yukimura seems to be working for a kimura but Johnson defends the submission attempt.

Yukimura is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yukimura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Yukimura's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yukimura shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Yukimura decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!
Yukimura shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Yukimura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Taylor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cent defends it nicely.
Cent stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cent wants it to stay on the feet.
Cent doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Taylor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cent was covering up waiting for the punch and Taylor finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cent has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though.

Oxylon cracks Xconzoa with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Oxylon has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Xconzoa to stand back up!

It looks like Xavier Xconzoa has been cut.
Oxylon fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oxylon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Xconzoa is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Xconzoa avoids a punch combination nicely.

O Coolahand misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.

O Coolahand uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lee walks into a left hand.
Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from O Coolahand.
Snatches O Coolahand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. O Coolahand tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. O Coolahand manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling O Coolahand to score with a decent uppercut.
O Coolahand throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

O Coolahand scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.

O Coolahand lands with a hook. Lee tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Lee loses concentration momentarily and O Coolahand pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Lee crashes face first to the mat, out cold! O Coolahand finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
