The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck the hammer on the side of the head.
Bastard misses with a series of wild punches.

the hammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bastard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
the hammer lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bastard down.
the hammer is looking to take a break and control but Bastard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

the hammer decides to stand back up. the hammer steps back and let's Bastard get back to his feet.
the hammer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bastard avoids it really well and circles away.
Bastard stalks the hammer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into the hammer's face. the hammer staggers backwards, shaken.

the hammer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bastard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bastard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but the hammer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Griffin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Little Evil is squeezing on Griffin like an anaconda would it's prey. Griffin fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Brophy leaves Lulz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Brophy throws a lazy right hand but Lulz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Lulz 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Brophy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
