The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

James closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brophy pushes James away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, James gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

James pivots and extends the arm, Brophy falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by James! Well done that man!
