The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stumps fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stumps shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
J keeps the fight on the outside.
Stumps closes the distance and clinches up with J, looking for a takedown. Stumps pushes J against the ropes but J circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stumps wants to clinch up but J keeps it at a distance.
Stumps fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

No joy there for Stumps, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stumps looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
J lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

J avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Stumps shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stumps was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stumps cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Stumps throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! J has his hands clasped together but Stumps breaks the hold and J is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Stumps!

The fighters circle momentarily. Pitta darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pitta. Hunter does a little dance to reset his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Mikey Powell.

Quick kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Indestructible, by Disturbed. Hanzuke Hiroshiba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiroshiba throws a solid leg kick but Quick takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hiroshiba.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Quick.
Well Quick has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
