Sven Ludwig told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The crowd seem to be enjoying Biernat's choice of entrance music: Ballroom Blitz. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zy throws a nice looking combination but Biernat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Biernat dives in and grabs Zy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zy pushes down on Biernat's head and hops out.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Biernat crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zy - the referee stops the clock and Biernat gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zy. Biernat manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Biernat shoots in for a takedown but Zy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lynn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alela - the referee stops the clock and Lynn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alela. Lynn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
