The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Steel Brightblade has been cut.
Brightblade ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.
Jackson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Brightblade.
Jackson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A cross from Jackson lands.
Brightblade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brightblade rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Oh Brightblade is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brightblade avoids the head kick by Jackson.
Brightblade went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jackson cracks Brightblade with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brightblade tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jackson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brightblade is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A very excited looking Might Lightning rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
