The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hide fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Show looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The Show misses with a hook.
The Show tests Hide's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hide misses with an uppercut. The Show saw that one coming.
Hide lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hide jabs The Show to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hide moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The Show seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Read throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Read working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petrovs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Read is tightening it up a little... Petrovs has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Petrovs reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Petrovs taps out! Nice BJJ there by Read!

Steinheiser doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A lazy left from Spencer finds it's target.
Steinheiser has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Spencer finds it's way round the side to connect with Steinheiser's head.
Spencer slips a jab from Steinheiser.
Spencer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Steinheiser's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spencer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steinheiser scrambles back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Steinheiser has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Steinheiser takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Curtis pushes Rebenta away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rebenta gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Vazzappo gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Smith gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Vazzappo is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
