The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoxha dives in and grabs Valadares's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valadares pushes down on Hoxha's head and hops out.
Valadares's corner calls for a 1-2. Valadares obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hoxha looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cody moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cody uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by White.
Cody moves in looking to clinch but White pushes him off.
White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cody avoids it really well and circles away.
White chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cody can pounce on him.
White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cody tries a head kick but it misses.
White stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cody.

Stamford drops Hearsum with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hearsum looks back up at him and smiles so Stamford waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Steve Hearsum has been cut.
Hearsum tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hearsum shoots for a takedown but Stamford saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stamford shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hearsum sprawls well. Hearsum wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stamford gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Hearsum or perhaps it was just good defense by Stamford which made him look bad.
Hearsum is breathing heavily.
Stamford drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Hearsum's head, knocking him out cold! Stamford is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
