The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn lands a glancing blow to the side of Shogun's head.

Shogun moves into range and clinches up with Horn.

Shogun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A solid leg kick lands there for Horn.
Shogun takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Horn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Shogun has hold of one of Horn's legs. Horn is fighting the takedown attempt but Shogun gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Horn wants to stand up but Shogun is controlling him.
Shogun must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Shogun is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

It looks like Shogun might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
