Yonic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Polus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Polus is trying to control Yonic's posture but Yonic avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yonic is looking to take a break and control but Polus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Polus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yonic.
It looked like Polus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Raminus Polus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Island Yonic.
Polus lands a nice shot that snaps Yonic's head back.

Island Yonic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
