Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Barnes (ranked 635 p4p, 1200 weight class) and Douglas Cardozo (ranked 92 p4p, 173 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barnes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Exterminate. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cardozo's choice of entrance music: DMX - Lord Give Me A Sign. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Buster Gruff!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Torres throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gruff takes one on the button.
It looks like Buster Gruff has been cut.
Gruff takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Torres defending well as Gruff loads up on a big left hand.
Torres misses with a double jab.
A nice side step and Gruff releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Oooooh!!! Torres has knocked Gruff down with a huge combo! Torres steps away and waves a wobbly Gruff back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gruff misses with a hook
and Torres counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Gruff has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
