The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens throws a left and a right that both miss
and Von Hayek counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Von Hayek throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Owens misses with a straight left.
Von Hayek was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Kevin Owens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Von Hayek. That snapped Owens's head back.
Von Hayek takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Von Hayek is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Owens is just riding it out for now. Von Hayek eventually gives up the hold.

It seemed like Morozov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Morozov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooke.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morozov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The fighters circle, before Cooke throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Morozov's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cooke lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Nice uppercut lands for Cools. That snapped Morrsion's head back.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Morrsion has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Cools lands a big right hand that sends Morrsion crashing to the mat! Cools stays standing though and waves Morrsion back to his feet!

Morrsion is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Cools doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Morrsion crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Morrsion's bad books for that mishap!

Scott is looking for a sweep. Puzo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Puzo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Scott is refusing to be controlled, as Puzo sits in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scott can do anything to dispel that myth.

Scott is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Puzo has latched onto it... Big trouble! Puzo pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Scott is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Puzo!

Mario Puzo really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
