Johnston comes to the cage accompanied by Same Old War. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston thuds his right hand into Tully's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Johnston avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Johnston attempts a counter takedown but Tully avoids it well and moves away.
Johnston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tully's waist but Tully gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnston off to one side.

A jab-cross combination lands for Johnston and sends Tully crashing to the mat! Johnston follows him down to the mat - Tully regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Rian Tully has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnston lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
