The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soza shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kool decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Soza's guard.
Kool with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kool trying to control but Soza is working from the bottom.
Soza trying to keep a closed guard but Kool is proving a slippery customer.
Soza can't keep his opponent in guard - Kool advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
