The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tarantino.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tarantino is trying to get an arm triangle but Brown is defending well.
Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tarantino wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tarantino working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
