The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nara, as that shot connected.
Bean takes one to the side of the head.
Nara lands with a nice body punch.
Nara connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bean moves out of range of the strikes.
Bean swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bean blocks a jab.
Nara moves away from the strike by Bean.
Nara jabs Bean to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nara ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bean moves in looking to clinch but Nara pushes him off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nara! But no joy.
Bean misses with a looping right.
Nara throws a hook but Bean avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mike Nara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Nara lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bean doesn't seem phased though.

Bean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Bean wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Nara lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bean is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Nara doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Bean crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Bean's bad books for that mishap!
