Luizao uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lucky.

Bastiat is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Dead Ii flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dead Ii is out cold! Bastiat holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schultz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schultz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Turner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Schultz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Turner has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Schultz finds it's way round the side to connect with Turner's head.
Schultz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kapur has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Finlayson's entrance music is Scotland the Brave, Black Bear. A fine choice.
