Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dreynos Elvul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, CG Mannheim!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elvul avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mannheim works Elvul's body with a nice hook.
Elvul keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mannheim misses with a hook.
Mannheim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Elvul sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elvul slips a jab from Mannheim.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mannheim has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Elvul counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mannheim, as that shot connected.
Elvul bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

CG Mannheim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mannheim thuds his right hand into Elvul's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Mannheim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Elvul doesn't seem bothered though.

Mannheim throws out a loose jab but Elvul uses good head movement to avoid it.

Elvul utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mannheim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mannheim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Elvul manages to avoid it.
Elvul keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Elvul on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Mannheim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mannheim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Elvul bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mannheim's guard.
Mannheim looking for a triangle here. Elvul is fighting it but it looks tight! Mannheim pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Elvul is tapping out - this one is all over!
