The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kong drives through and clinches with Power against the cage.
Kong throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kong lands an elbow that stopped Power in his tracks for a moment.
Power has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kong avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Power jumps guard but Kong stands there with Power around his waist. Power gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kong has Power pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Power manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Power pushes a forearm under Kong's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kong is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Williams has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness in the buildup to the fight.
Williams moves out of range of the strikes.

Markelic cracks Williams with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Markelic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Williams to stand back up!
Markelic throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.
Markelic's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Markelic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Barny tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Green wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Barny's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
I wouldn't like to be where Barny is right now.

Green has an Americana. Barny didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Green is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Green hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
