The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Rose there.
Reese lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Reese has Rose up against the cage in a clinch.

Rose is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Reese can't fight it off and eventually Rose manages to take the fight to the floor. Reese looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Reese is looking for a triangle but Rose pushes his legs off easily.

Drake swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Toledo.
Toledo tries to clinch but Drake moves out of range.
Drake bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Toledo's head.
Toledo misses with a looping right.
Toledo throws a lazy uppercut
and Drake counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Drake lands with an overhand left.
Toledo is rocked!

Drake drops Toledo with a beautiful combination! Toledo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Drake is looking for the KO!
Toledo is still on wobbly legs! Can Drake finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toledo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A counter left hand to the body from Drake misses its target.

Drake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Toledo.
Dezmond Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toledo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Drake drops Toledo with a straight right hand, right on the button! Drake follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

We've been informed that Bukowski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
