Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yasen Petrov (ranked 3600 p4p, 4501 weight class) and Pauline Hanson (ranked 341 p4p, 407 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Petrov is really struggling to control Hanson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Hanson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hanson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A close round but Pauline Hanson will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Petrov has closed the distance and engaged Hanson in a clinch.

Hanson has hold of one of Petrov's legs. Petrov is fighting the takedown attempt but Hanson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Hanson is stalling here. Petrov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hanson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Petrov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Dan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Test has time to react.
Dan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Test has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Test and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Test misses with a few strikes there.
Dan throws a one two combo.
Test walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dan throws out a leg kick but Test moves out of range and Dan only half commits.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Test ! But no joy.
Test has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Nice uppercut there from Dan.

And that's the end of the fight!
Son Of Dan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Gomes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

No has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gomes is working away from the top position though.
