The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone gets a double leg takedown into Mouth's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mouth manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Mouth blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mouth has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Mouth blocks the elbow strike.
Mouth tries to circle away but Stone has him pinned against the cage.
Stone scores with a shot to the side of Mouth's head.

Mouth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stone shoots in but Mouth avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mouth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mouth throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range.
Stone tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mouth manages to circle out of the way.

Stone steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mouth. That one must have hurt.
Mouth slips under a jab from Stone.
Mouth fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mouth throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.

Stone pushes Mouth up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mouth is defending well for now.

Mouth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from Mouth. Those never looked like landing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mouth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Mouth counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stone's knee momentarily.

Stone shoots for a takedown but Mouth saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stone connects with a nice short shot to Mouth's temple.
Stone thows a huge punch but Mouth dodges it nicely.
Stone is taking a breather. Mouth says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stone connects with a nice short shot to Mouth's temple.

Stone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mouth has managed to free his arm - good work.

Stone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stone stops Mouth from getting back to his feet.
Stone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mouth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Stone is stalling here. Mouth is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Stone seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mouth has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Brett Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We've been hearing good reports from Raggazza's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
