McGee has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shewmaker to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McGee is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shewmaker pulls down on the head and he's put McGee to sleep! This one is all over!

I think Kong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to X Gonna Give it To ya. Fury is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Astronaut in the ocean. We've been told by Kirin's head coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Golara drops his hands momentarily and Kirin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Golara throws a lazy uppercut
and Kirin counters with a left to the body.
Golara closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Golara misses with a combination
and Kirin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Golara tries to move into range but Kirin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kirin scores with a sloppy right hand. Golara should have avoided that one.
Kirin digs a good hook to Golara's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kirin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Golara wants to clinch but Kirin slips to the side
and Kirin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That has opened up Endrju Golara's cut even more.
Kirin connects with a body shot that sends Golara's belly button to the back.
Golara walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Kirin counters with a crisp one two that drops Golara! Kirin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Golara to his feet! Golara is in big trouble!
Golara is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Golara drops his hands momentarily. Kirin doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Golara staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Golara doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
