We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some bone on bone action there as Benedetti checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A little feinted left hand from Benedetti on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Benedetti pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Chelios throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benedetti.

Benedetti lands a big right hand that sends Chelios crashing to the mat! Benedetti stays standing though and waves Chelios back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chelios gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Benedetti points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Chelios wakes up just in time to hear Benedetti thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

A very excited looking Mario Benedetti made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
