The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Two fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with One, pushing him back against the cage.
One lands a left hand.

One manages to break the clinch.
One misses with a takedown attempt - Two sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

One shoots in and bounces Two off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Two manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. One manages to get himself to full guard.

Two throws a big elbow that misses.
One controls Two momentarily but Two frees himself.
Two wants to control from the top but One keeps moving.

One can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Two controls the pace.
Two trying to control the position from guard on top but One is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Two looking to sit in guard and control but One gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

One prevents Two from getting back to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Two is on top in guard.

Two wants to stand but One has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

One wants to improve his position but instead Two has moved into half guard.

Two decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Two has had enough of the clinch but One keeps him there for the moment.

One has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Two uses from the top position.

Two is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of One's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take One's back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Two looks like he's trying to stand up.

One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Two swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
One tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Two swivels and escapes.
One looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Two stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Two wants it to stay on the feet.
It seemed like Two was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
One uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Two.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

One seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Two does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
One slips a nice elbow through Two's hands, connecting with Two's forehead.

One has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

One goes for an armbar but Two turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Two.
Two is pushing down on One's leg trying to pass to half guard. One is fighting to maintain full guard but Two has managed to sneak the leg through.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Two wants to work for an arm triangle but One is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Test One.
