The crowd seem to be enjoying Davis's choice of entrance music: Era. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tomson, as that shot connected.
Davis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tomson. Tomson obviously looking to wear him down.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tomson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Tomson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Davis backwards.

Tomson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
