Kelly slips a jab and a cross from Spants.
Spants bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Spants in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Spants postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kelly keeps Spants under control for a moment.
Kelly tries to escape but Spants is in control.
Spants wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kelly keeps working.
Spants throws an elbow but Kelly slips to the side and avoids it well.
Kelly is not content to let Spants control the position.
Spants goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kelly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Spants but great work by Kelly.
