The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Southall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Floyd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Floyd walks into a jab.
Southall moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

It looks like Neville Southall has been cut.
A nice leg kick from Southall, right into the meat of the thigh.
Southall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Floyd.
Floyd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Southall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Floyd counters with a crisp right hand that drops Southall! Floyd lets Southall back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Southall's coach down at Tran MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Southall's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Floyd feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Southall sprawling to the canvas! Southall rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Floyd finish him?!
