He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It's a brutal combination of punches from Nti! Gatsby is backing up but he can't get away as Nti lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Gatsby and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Lopez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bob Dylan - Hurricane. I was talking to Lopez's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Cotroni throws a punch but it's blocked by Lopez.

Cotroni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A relieved looking Carlos Lopez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
