Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Parker screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olej Saganov (ranked 24507 p4p, 5411 weight class) and Dagul Damulag (ranked 617 p4p, 565 weight class). Olej Saganov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Olej Saganov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Damulag drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Damulag wants to control but Saganov is keeping him busy.

I really don't envy Mihailov right now.

Hammer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

What can Mihailov do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Mihailov is trying to get back to his feet but Hammer has full control of the position and if anything, Mihailov has just worked his way into a worse spot.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banger throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Currant stumbling backwards into the cage! Currant bounces back off the cage towards Banger, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Banger lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Banger celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
