Heining has Stat pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Heining pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stat tumbling to the mat - Heining dives into Stat's guard.
Stat is wriggling around but Heining manages to pass to half guard.
Heining seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Heining lands a nice short elbow.
Heining is nestled in close to Stat, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
