The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inarritu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tiotio misses with a combination
and Inarritu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tiotio misses with a left hand
and Inarritu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tiotio lands the left hand.
Inarritu missing with a left hand there. Tiotio was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tiotio lunges at Inarritu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Inarritu's hand.
Tiotio misses with a hook. Inarritu ducked under it nicely.
Tiotio looks to land a combination but Inarritu avoids it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ara Tiotio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tiotio steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Inarritu.

Nice shot lands for Inarritu.
Tiotio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looked like Inarritu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tiotio has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Inarritu tries to land a front kick but Tiotio steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Inarritu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tiotio walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Tiotio limp body while Inarritu jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
