Cool looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Da Silva is fending him off so far but Cool persists. Nope, Da Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been hearing reports that Cool has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Cool takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Da Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holloway throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily.
Holloway tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stone attempts a counter takedown but Holloway avoids it well and moves away.

Stone manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Holloway on his heels. He'll look to pass Holloway's guard now, I'm sure.
Stone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
