The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yong closes the distance and pushes Takeda back into the cage.
Yong gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Takeda.
Takeda wants a takedown but no success here.
Takeda drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Baldwin Yong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeo Takeda.
Takeda has Yong pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yong manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Takeda is working for takedown but Yong is calmly controlling the position for now.
Takeda is trying to drag Yong to the mat but Yong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Yong tightens his grip and picks Takeda up, before dumping him to the ground. Takeda manages to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gill looking to score a takedown here. Birendra is defending well but Gill drives through and ends up in Birendra's guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gill has eaten all the pies!
Gill won't allow Birendra to get back to his feet.
Gill trying to control but Birendra is working from the bottom.
Birendra wants to get back to his feet but Gill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Birendra will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gill wants to pass the guard but Birendra is keeping the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
