Straka shoots in for a takedown but San shows good takedown defense.
San connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Straka momentarily.

San gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Straka to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Straka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
San wants to get back to his feet but Straka is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Straka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
San controls Straka momentarily but Straka frees himself.

Straka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed San's guard.

Nixon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nixon sets himself, and Mada steps forward looking for the clinch! Nixon avoids it this time.
Nixon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mada defends well and Nixon ends up having to push Mada into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mada changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nixon will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mada up against the cage.

Nixon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nixon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mada sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nixon somewhat.
